TRUE ???? TOO

3-23-13

TRUE   ????    TOO        # 4

Sometimes things happen at Bella Vita while I am there, sometimes not. What I'm about to relate happened shortly after I left the other day, but I was told what happened by a reliable source, and I saw the debris of the aftermath, so I'm pretty sure it really happened.

Tammy had been taking a "home Witchery" course from Sheridan. (For those of you needing some explanation, see TRUE ???? # 27) She needed practice in "spelling" with a mirror nearby. The bar mirror at Bella Vita seemed ideal, so Tammy threw this spell intending to hit the mirror at a 45 degree angle, bouncing the spell into a jar sitting at the end of the bar, on the bar. Unfortunately, Luma had recently placed some wine glasses at a 45 degree angle to the jar, and you all know what a wine glass does to an angle. When the spell hit the mirror, it set up a harmonic vibratory wave, because of the wine glass, and the back-bar shelves started their Titanic-like trip to the floor. Luma was on the kitchen side, sitting at the bar on the bartender side, while Rex was on a stool opposite Luma like any good customer. With cat-like reflexes and quicksilver speed, Luma dived over the Bar, pulling Rex from his stool and dragging him to the far end of the bar to try and save some of her irreplaceable glasses as well as Rex. As luck would have it, her Supergirl cape filled with air just as she reached the end of the bar, and she flew over the bar, still holding on to Rex.
The back-bar shelving with about a million dollars worth of Who-Hit-John and thousands of dollars worth of glasses smashed into billions of pieces of glittery glass on the bar and the floor instead of Rex and Luma. There is now a new back bar with new bottles of hooch, and yes, the booze is still AGED, not brand new. Jennifer decided it would be a shame to waste all that glittery broken glass, so she ran next door and bought some glue. She painted glue onto a piece of glass to stick on her shoe, and Luma said "Wait, do it just like making a chicken fried steak. Paint the shoes with glue, then roll them in the glass. Do that three or four times, and they'll be so glittery you'll have to wear sun-glasses." She did, they are, and we're now calling her "Sparkly Pebbles".(You'll have to go back to prehistoric times to find out about "Pebbles".)
